The '19 draft was pretty shallow after Zion and Ja. Best players NOLA could've realistically gotten at #8 were:

Rui Hachimura (same position as Zion)
Cam Reddish (who was lowkey feuding w/ Zion at the time)
Cam Johnson (same position as Zion)
Tyler Herro (who no one truly saw coming)
Matisse Thybulle (at #8?)
