Why would you leave now? How is it not his job next year?

You giving up on a qb without a start? He probably had an advantage over Brennan anyway with him being younger and a new staff

No, I think Brennan has a top five arm in the country and looked really good last year.... I think Nuss celling is high but in my opinion he's very Baker Mayfield like and will be a great Qb in year three or four...Theres not many qbs in America lighting it up every week thats a true freshman or sophomore. It takes three years to learn the position and mature into it physically for 99.5% of qbs...

Never considered the Baker compare, but it's pretty close imho...

I love Brennan and my post history proves I was 100% confident he would start and why, but it's best for him to go somewhere he's guaranteed to start if healthy. He's far from guaranteed to beat Howard or Nuss. Nuss has a very high ceiling but even he won't hold off Howard long. He should find a system that fits him well also. No way of knowing what LSU system will be next year.

I dont know where you go that has more talent at wr than LSU...Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio state have penciled in starters at qb...Anywhere he goes that has decent wr is going to have a competitive other option at qb he's gonna have to beat out...

Can’t wait for Nuss’ dad and Howard dad to have a, “Which dad is the most entitled and noisy regarding his son’is playing time”

if he waits in the portal and a new coach comes in there's a chance that he could be convinced to stay right?

There are no guarantees in life especially in college football. A new coach will likely be named in early December, so I hope Miles waits to evaluate his opportunity at LSU.

I can tell you factually that Myles would certainly consider staying at LSU of the right coach comes in that makes sense for the type of QB he is - pocket passer. Fisher would make sense, but Riley and Aranda who prefer more mobile QBs probably wouldn't.

Would you want to play behind our offensive line?

No one is going to guarantee he'll start. At least not a top 50 team. Doing so hampers recruiting for that new coach on a player who's been injury prone and may only have one year of eligibility.

He can likely transfer to any school at any time. Wait until the new coaching staff is in place. Spend time talking about the situation after getting past the February signing period and perhaps even after spring practice.

He's a graduate student. Certainly he can take classes at a new school in either the Final (Spring) Quarter [UCLA or CAL or Washington or Northwestern or Stanford or University of Oregon or Oregon State or other schools on the Quarter System] or during summer school in order to establish whatever eligibility that is necessary.

Will lose Austin Dec. And Shanahan... He wanted to play behind it this year. It wont be much different. Dellinger, Bradford, Hill look promising...

Exactly. With the right OC and QB coach, Brennan could have a monster year next year.

I don't think it's about talent at WR, winning a conference title, national title, etc... It's about an absolute opportunity to start, get a year of film, get into the combine and then get drafted.
