Who will be pulling for Illinois tonight?

If Penn State goes down, that would be a huge help to LSU. The Nittany Lions are starting to replace USC as the media's baby. I want them out of the picture now.

I highly doubt we ever get to be a media darling. It's more JoePa being the media darling than our football team.
That being said this team is pretty good. They're not proven but they're pretty good. They have all the makings of that 2005 team that only lost on the last play of the game to Michigan but the schedule gets really tough in the next few weeks.
If we're undefeated going into November I would say we've earned the accolades.

Either way's good for the Big 10/OSU, but I think PSU winning would be just a little bit better. It's a win-win for Ohio State, though.

Yeah but it's not our fault the media has such a boner for USC. I still had to listen to everyone on Gameday talk about how we've played nobody and it takes Corso to mention that we destroyed the team that beat USC.
I know Herbie will talk us up so that if we lose to Ohio St it'll make the Bucknuts look that much better. So anything he says about us is for his own personal reason. As for the rest of the USC people they seem to be quiet about the fact that we punked OSU and the Trojans got punked.

I won't. I'm neutral in this, I like the work that both coaches have done for their teams and won't really mind either one winning.
I'll probably pull a bit more for Illinois because I know more of their players' names and I generally pull for the underdog if the game isn't immediately significant for LSU.

Considering ULL had Illinois on the ropes, it would not look good for PSU if they struggle (as long as they contend they belong with the big boys). A PSU win leaves what, two teams left in the rankings from the Big 10?
