Same problem where I work. We used to get around 60 applications for an entry level accountant but now we are lucky to get 15, with 5 that qualify for the position.

drivers/delivery guys. It's gotta be one of the easiest jobs out there and we're having trouble finding dependable people to hire.

Honestly my company is hiring left and right right now. The great resignation hasn’t touched the company I work for and yet they’re still paying me $2,500 for every employee I refer who stays on for 90 days or more. We’re almost exclusively virtual though so no vaccine mandates for us :)

We need lead security techs and journeyman security techs. We install access control systems and video surveillance systems.
We're good on the data center side.

Administrative staff of all types is getting difficult.
The obvious problem with lack of applicants and the fact that the normal salary range isn't as competitive with all the free money and rising wage expectations across the board.
It's going to force everything to become more expensive.

Every single job is seeing mass resignations. From the truck driver, to the firefighter, to the police officer, to the accountant, to the stock broker, and to the teacher.
Many people will be out of work because of this Marxist bull shite, and the other half down want to work.
Just disgusting

I see people (you can guess the types) commenting on WAFB and WBRZ Facebook posts about employers having a hard time hiring people saying stupid shite like “well pay more and maybe they’ll hire more”. That infuriates me. You have a fricking high school education and have always been a cashier or greeter yet you want a $50,000 salary to answer the phone and route calls? Go frick yourself, you fricking lazy uneducated undetermined frick. If people like that had any idea just how stupid they look when saying dumbass stuff like that…

You should read antiwork Reddit
I think there is a sense that companies have unlimited money to pay for low value positions
