Yeah, Freddie had every opportunity to stay. But he had bad representation who tried to strong-arm the Braves and the Braves/AA called their bluff.

The fact the Braves could match what the Dodgers offered shows it was about the Braves, not Freeman. Braves got younger but it isn't like Freeman would have broke the bank
