I don't remember my grandmother cooking shite, but she always had a stash of glass-bottled Cokes in the refrigerator and they were good.

Fried chicken or chicken/sausage gumbo.

Wish I was older when she passed because I would have definitely gotten that recipe from her.

She used to flex on her neighbors too. Would cook it with the Windows open

Pan fried breaded veal and baked macaroni but with spaghetti and penne.

Neither Rocky nor Carlo could mess with Grammy, boy. And her house had less roaches too.

When my grandmother passed away, my aunt let us grandchildren have some of her things that were special to us. I love everything she gave me, and among the treasures was MawMaw’s recipe box. It is full of clippings from magazines and newspapers she collected over time. She loved to bake and my favorite treat in the world are her holiday lemon squares.

Mac and Cheese with butter bread. Nothing special but I would absolutely devour that stuff

Not a meal but the best is a Chocolate Pound Cake she made for all special occasion. Thinking about it, my grandma wasn't much of a cook but damn she made some good sweets

Too many meals to count!

Pot Roast, Mac and cheese, yams.

Brings back such good memories. I spent all my summer vacations there . I hate to say it, but she's probably the reason I was a fat little kid. She cooked meals like this 7 days a week

Carrots and ground beef. Sweet and savory.

She wasn’t known as a good cook (Mom was), but her carrots and ground beef dish was outstanding.
