Yet another snake ID

Found this guy stretched out getting some sun in the side yard between the house and neighbors barn About 3 feet long. Pretty chilly day so was surprised to see him out. He was very lethargic. Moved him into a brushy area and sent him on his way.

That was guess number 2 but the colors were confusing. Other rat snakes in the area were solid black
