Here’s a simple solution, have Mike head back to his habitat after both teams go back in to the locker rooms after warmups. You know, before the fireworks.
Barbaric? Y’all realize they load Mike in that travel cage and take him places when they want to. Like to the LSU vet building. There is no issue of loading him into the travel cage.

The fact that you can’t discern taking Mike to the Vef building and being in front of a few students and vets from being in front of 90k+ people is concerning

No shite Sherlock. But there’s no crowd when they take him to the SVM. And they don’t do that very often. The issue is the stress caused by driving him around Tiger Stadium before the football game.
