I know this has been talked about before, but I had mine checked recently because well...I don't feel like I used to and haven't for years (I'm 36). Low energy, fatigue, even lower sex drive, hair is marginally thinning on my crown, but nothing terrible, mood changes, affected memory. Blood count looks fine. Muscle mass isn't really a major problem. Just haven't been to the gym in a while. The tests look fairly normal. No history of depression

I have heard people here say they are in the 700-800 range. I was wondering about these so called shots, but I am guessing they are expensive. Not sure if I need something like that.

Been doing testosterone therapy for some years now and it keeps my 700ish range.

I take 1cc a week. I freaking love it.

Never had acne issues or hair thinning, thankfully.

My insurance covers it so it’s not very expensive. Walgreens is my steroid supplier. Which comically i have had guys in line at the pharmacy amazed that i legit am getting test and needles.

No, it doesn’t make you violent or have a roid rage. 1cc a week isn’t enough to do that.

Does it make you solid, yes but you aren’t gonna win bodybuilding shows from it. Gonna have to stack several things to do that. And you aren’t gonna look like some juice head.

But no matter what, your traps, arms, calves, and forearms will look bigger in 2-3 weeks automatically from daily use.

If you decide to go to a doctor and get put on IM injections and they say every 2 weeks or monthly, run. Run away. Most doctors are morons when it comes to testosterone replacement.

It should be weekly at absolute minimum.

Also just want to point out how ridiculous it is that in this country you can get a sex change and get prescribed testosterone, but we can’t go to an anti aging clinic and get say 500mg a week if you are ok with being shut down naturally

Your results are normal and you are young. Don't do it. Take into account your body will stop making it's own testosterone (trt is a big commitment)

I actually just ran into a website. I will try and find it again.

I actually just stumbled on it. I'm sure there are better ones.

Just posted on health board.

Ashwaganda and tongkat ali raised mine over 100 points in one month.

You can order through amazon.

I fill my own capsules with the tongkat powder. It's too bitter otherwise.

It might be the most bitter thing on the planet. Chewing excedrin has nothing on tongkat ali

You are low.

Question number 1 is how do you sleep??

Do you have apnea, do you go to bed late, do you work shift work?

You have to get your sleep fixed if broken first. You testosterone reloads in the night time and is the highest it will ever be before 9 am (aside from maybe some peaks from workouts, etc)

If there is nothing else physically causing this.. not thyroid issues, testicular damage, etc... I would get your sleep right first.

No eating late, no TV in the bedroom, plug your phone up away from you, get a book, and throw out all of your LED lights in you bedroom. Use incandescent in your bedside lamps. Get in a routine.

Then go from there. I inject subcutaneous every 3 days. Get your estrogen checked. If you are estrogen dominant fix that before test injections. If dominant your body will convert testosterone to estrogen.

I'm 25 with lower levels. You're fine.

Ask for a follow up panel in a couple weeks. Ensure you're testing first thing in the morning, and get good sleep the night before. That's the only real way to know. Insurance won't cover you if you test in the same range you did a second time, but it's also worth considering your family prostate cancer history.

A few doctors are running regimens of 50mg/day of DHEA for 60 days as a reset, pulling bloodwork again at 90 days out. I'll update how it affects me one way or another in 60 days.

Long story short, nobody wants low T, but your levels are far from hypogonadal, so consult someone well versed in endocrinology because to echo some other responses, doctors largely approach the endocrine system with less nuance than other health issues.

Have thyroid blood testing done, especially TSH and free T-4.
