Internet detectives figured out that the injury had to happen sometime between July 10 and July 31. Zion was already walking around without a boot by mid August.

Even if we take the July 31 date, we're already well past the more conservative 8-10 week window, when guys are already on the court playing games. Zion isn't even running yet.

Recovery following surgery can occur in six-to-eight weeks though an 8-to-10-week window is likely a safer estimate.

I mean, what more do some of you need to see?
8-10 week recovery time is normal, big arse Robin Lopez gets back in 7 weeks.
Here Zion is at the 13-15 week mark, and he's no where close to being back.

This is why I say it is a Pelicans problem. These injuries are taking entirely too long to rehab. So either they are lying (which I think we all know is happening) and/or Nelson and staff are doing a terrible job. Professional athletes should always be on the quick side of recovery. They should NEVER take 50-100% longer to recover.
