Put your drinks in a cup or you will be killed by the gainesville cops.

to me the uf experience is different than LSU it seems a little less rowdy and just more spread out.

I've been a few times. The pre-game tailgating is not all that great. I rank many other schools above them. The Purple Porpoise is kinda cool.
The thing I always have noted was that Florida didn't have some of the pageantry before the games that LSU, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia have.

The stadium is loud and they cheer along much like LSU fans do.

the GAME experience is fun and loud... the pregame is lame. They have a strip of bars across the street from the stadium/campus that alot of people hang out of. (most notably the Swamp)

The fans are crap in that they think they are the son of God, Jesus, Adam, and Eve... but it is the 2nd best SEC atmosphere I've been to (other than LSU), and I only have USC this year to complete the whole SEC away rotation.

Dabeerz what is your rank of priority on the SEC since you seem to be a weathered veteran.

In the stadium for the game is awesome, but the cops are assholes. Drink in a plastic cup and all that shite. If you wear a Gaytor shirt, you may be ok. A few years ago, the cops handcuffed a dude to a stop sign and left him there. When the cops came back for him he was gone.
He got his frieds to pull the stop sign up and they hauled arse.

DaBeerz, I'll add to your comment.
LSU is the most special place for gameday The entire experience from fans getting there the night before (and earlier) to the all day affair that feels much like Mardi Gras with all the great food, drinks and dancing all around campus. I didn't realize this until I moved away. No one can duplicate the experience that you, my LSU family, does every Saturday that the Tigers are playing.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it was gone last year when I was there. Used to be pretty cool. Overall, I give UF pregame a -3....cops are asses, no good tailgating, UF fans think Spurrier is still head coach, not to mention the whole Jorts thing.
