This is the real reason that Jazzfest was cancelled. I’ve heard there are only around 700 officers not counting the almost 150-175 who are out of action due to health/injuries. This really something the local media hasn’t discussed.

Before I moved to Old Metairie, I lived on Cadiz St. 2 blocks from Napoleon. A couple of years Endymion got rained out and moved to the Uptown route. It was awful, the crowd was almost unmanageable.
