Krewe of Boo route shortened due to police shortage

Of all the reasons New Orleans residents should have been outraged over the past few decades, shortening a parade route is the straw that broke the camel’s back. The same cop shortage has led to many other issues in the city without much hubbub but a shorter parade and possibly requiring other krewes to change their routes is a bridge too far!!!

I am willing to bet they just aren’t paying the OT or getting more officers to push the one route narrative.
