Im taking your meaning of progressive to mean someone who wants to make actual progress.
The answer is no. Louisianans do not want change at all! They vote en masse for the status quo. That's why we are a backwards shithole of a state. The same old good old boy kickback and grifter politicians will continue to run this state in the ground until everyone with a brain leaves.

Both incredible and disappointing how so many don't recognize "progressivism" for what it is.
But marxism by any other name, revision, is still the ideology no matter what frills and laces, euphemisms it's cloaked under.
The propaganda mills with their Humanities Departments and the eager assistance of media have really done yeoman's work in turning out so many of them.
