Any alternatives to Ozonics?

Ozonics technology is pretty proven but so is the price tag. Anyone try anything different with positive results? I always play the wind but sometimes wind swirls. Trying to get every advantage I can.

Ozone is proven to eliminate odor but the amount it takes to really be effective would be hazardous to your health. There's a reason that Ozonics doesn't advertise how much Ozone their machines put out. For them to work like they say it'd be unhealthy. It's an expensive gimmick but hey, if you think it helps go for it. It won't hurt.

Yeah I have to agree with this. I bought one a few years ago because I got a great deal. After using one in a stand, I clearly saw that there was no way it could be effective with a swirling wind. Now I just use it to sanitize my hunting clothes and camp. It will definitely clean up musty camp air.

I killed the biggest buck of my life after working 3 hours in a chicken house. I smelt like sweat, beer, and chicken shite and i shot a 10 pointer at 40 yards down wind.

most of this shite our there is just a gimmick, take a bath, put your clothes in an air tight bag with some local tree leaves, and hunt the wind.

Hunt the wind at all costs then. Spend your money on basic equipment upgrades.

After hunting for 30 years I’ve excepted The fact that you can take a few steps to minimize your scent but in the end if a Mature deer catches your wind it’s over.

A bigger pile of persimmon-flavored yella yelper.

Makes you wonder. The owner of Ozonics is a practicing dentist. I wonder what “products” he’s pedaling in his practice.

There was a thread on archery talk a couple years ago about building your own. So I did. Not very difficult and cost about 1/3 of an ozonics. If you can find that thread just follow the directions. And customize as you wish. It works as good as the ozonics.
