Can't please everybody. I can appreciate making a decision and standing firm on it. Not letting weekly emotions come into it.

Does anybody think because Ed O beat Florida this week that will make the team better next year?

So why not announce the firing a week before like Boat suggested? It looks ridiculous to fire a coach after a winning against a top 20 opponent with only 60 scholarship players on the roster.

It wasn't O that beat Florida. Ask the running back that broke the all time record. He gives credit to a consultant that came up with the blocking scheme on the play that worked time after time. Oh and also I have heard that one of the OL who did so much during the game was a walk on? If so that kind of negates those who speak of O's ability to evaluate talent and recruit.

I disagree -they should have waited
1 everybody in the sane world knew that he would be replaced (no advantage in the coaching search)
2 why disrupt the teams celebration after one of the greatest improbable wins in LSU history
3 does anyone think that this in some way wont distract from the teams focus for the O Missy game ? which we had a good chance to win
4 This is about the TEAM isnt it
5 Does this give this TEAM a better chance to win more - this year
