I saw the report on Twitter geaux 247 that Fisher is Woodward’s top target but he has a really big buyout.

How could that even be possible?

I don't see why he'd leave A&M for LSU. Seems kind of a lateral move or close enough to one. I feel the same way about Lincoln Riley. LSU is a better job than Penn State in a vacuum but maybe not to a PA native.

Why does he have no buyout if he were to leave?

Several reasons

He’s familiar with LSU, Baton Rouge and Louisiana.
He knows the SEC and the Florida market real well.

He’s fairly young. He’s strong with the boosters since he’s a real good talker

Aside from that, he’s a very good coach. He had a ring. He also kills two birds with one stone since he can head coach and Coordinate an offense. No more having to pay millions for an OC.

He makes a ton of sense

It's far from a lateral move. LSU has 3 national titles since A&M's last conference title. Despite all the money A&M will always be #2 in state behind Texas. The weird milk men/cadet stuff will keep some recruits away no matter what.

Buyout is if he is fired. No penalty owed A&M if he leaves on his own.

Because he has a really good agent, and A&M was so desperate to get him they forced Woodward to give him everything he wants

Solely b/c of Jameis. Just like Mac Brown has a ring from Vince Young. And Chizek from Cam. And O from Joe.

Jimbo=Fraud

His career highlights consist of an NC and a win over Bama. Sound familiar?

This is such a pile of crap. That team had NFL draft picks all over to include Jalen Ramsey, it wasn't "all because of Jameis". The defense was first in points allowed per game.

Florida State is a dumpster fire and it was headed that direction before he left. A&M hasn’t done shite since he got there. He does not impress me in any way. Do. Not. Want.
