We stayed here as well. It doesn't have AC, but the weather is pretty temperate there so that wasn't a problem. It's a gorgeous property with lots of hiking trails, free guided hikes, etc. But it is a really miserable drive down a very bad road. It takes about 20 minutes to go the short distance because the road is just full of potholes. Most roads in Costa Rica aren't this way! We were still glad we stayed here as we took advantage of most of the trails that were free.
Maybe the road is better than 3 years ago!

Dang near rattle all of our teeth out! But yes, definitely worth it and we also weren't bothered by the no AC. Felt great with just the screens closed on the windows/doors.

It is. I was there in May, the road is newly paved. It was a nice surprise compared to the crappy gravel road that used to be there.
