Gotta admit, I looked up smith to see how big his lips are and while they are big, they’re not Michelin tire sized or even remotely big enough to use that analogy. Really not sure why Gruden would use that analogy unless he just really didn’t like him and want to make extreme fun of him.

And mentioning the size of someone’s lips is not feds to racist. If he said that N has lips the size of michilin tires then yeah, racist.
He just mentioned a part of the body. He could have mentioned his hair or eyes or short legs….

That said, it’s common for the negroid race to have thicker lips than caucasoid or asiod but so what? It’s a feature that helps us identify.

Gruden can be called a racist and I’m sure many will but the real question is whether or not he’s a good coach. Not sure about that but I think he is.
