Has anyone experienced a drop in their VO2 Max after asymptomatic covid infection?

Work for a hospital system and occupational health started offering the antibody tests again recently. About 3-4 months ago one of my kids was very sick with some sort of respiratory infection (our pediatrician is not fond of testing even for the flu prior to covid as it doesn’t change his course of treatment, so no test for Covid) and I was home with her for nearly a week. Those with kids can imagine how this went. Figured I’d go do the antibody test just to see if I had them and sure enough I do have antibodies.

Have never noticed any change in physical performance nor symptoms. Lift 3x week/run 3x week. For some reason my VO2 Max has now dropped 2 points in the last month without any real change in my routine or noticeable performance drop. In fact my times have improved, both steady pace and intervals. VO2 Max has dropped from 47 to 45 via two separate one point drops about 2.5 weeks apart.

Anyone else experience this?

How are you measuring your VO2 max? Also, can you feel the difference, and can you measure the difference?

I heard of covid affecting vo2 but that is about it. Odd that it would be asymptomatic.
