Anyone impressed with the dome renovations?
Going from ramps to stairwells seems insane. Seems like a fire hazard and not particularly friendly for drunks and elderly.
The new “lounge areas” seemed under utilized.
IMHO a big waste of money so far.

Nope. My seat was the cutoff in my section so I guess that's good but basically got rid of 500 seats for like 10 ADA spots and a few people to stop and look over for a play while going to the bathroom/concessions. Stairs better be temporary until next offseason.

As a lifetime season ticket holder who has seen every Dome upgrade there ever was, the new upgrades are awful. They robbed these ppl of their seats for bs, the stairs are awful, the no cash has made concession lines awful, the scoreboards suck, the graphics on the scoreboards look like a kid from the 1980s designed them, you can't tell what down and distance it is, the blaring rap is awful, it's a total disaster ImO and on top of that they misspelled Morten Andersen's name on the ring of honor as Morton Andersen. Ive missed about 5 home games since the mid 80s and that was the worst overall experience i've ever had. Running out of beer and food in the 2nd quarter. It's a juvenile operation and an embarrassment.

Yep, that's where i've seen them before. I don't know the exact year but I knew they looked familiar. Not to make light of anyone's struggle with cancer either, but the motivational guy yelling to fire up the cancer survivors at halftime was nothing short of bizarre as well. The only bright spots were my vaccine card not being checked and nobody caring about masks. The stairs did get us out a little quicker, but they are a disaster waiting to happen.

100% agree about the stairs. its an accident waiting to happen. the cashless concessions were terrible. i got displaced and luckily only moved to the side if the renovations and two rows up but my seat was broken.

Is that why his name wasn’t lit up? I didn’t even realize it was spelled wrong but saw it and wondered why they wouldn’t have someone fix the light before the game

And the three on that side weren’t aligned correctly like the ones on the other side were. My guess there is leaving room for 9 very soon.

Fletcher tweeted about it in pregame so that's probably it. Amazing they didn't catch that earlier. Had to be hundreds of people who looked at it yesterday setting up the Dome.

Let's do a 450 mil dollar renovation but put in some high school stairwells just for fun.
