You’re taking this pretty hard man. Yikes.

Burrow, Ensminger, Aranda and some Brady

O deserves credit for staying out of the coaches way
A lot of coaches can't even do that and he had issues with that himself in the past and at LSU, so I'll give him some credit there. We happened to have coaches good enough that year that if you let them do their thing combined with the talent that we recruited,a great result was possible. That's not the case anymore though.

Its getting goddamn ridiculous but I am cool.Im just trying to understand how all these horrible people produced incredibly successful people. I wouldnt call myself an O believer but what kinda coach wants to work at a place you can get fired 2 years afyer winning a natty. Ask Auburn. Ask Tennessee.

O on deserves much of the credit for 2019, hired Brady, recruited Burrow, Chase, Helairie etc., got Alleva to open the checkbook to keep Aranda. He also deserves most if not all of the credit for the recent crash. Coaching replacements that suck, an O line that sucks, recent compliance issues that are really hurting. O’s success seems to have mirrored his marriage. Good marriage, great success. Divorce and total lacks of focus running a program. I said after the UCLA game this will be a slow death that I don’t see a solution to reverse it except starting over with a new head coach.

Bill Busch
I think people forget that Burrow coming here probably never would have happened if not for Busch.
quote:
Orgeron credited LSU safeties coach Bill Busch for his role in reeling in Burrow. Busch was not only Burrow’s lead recruiter for the Tigers, but he was also a former defensive quality control assistant at Ohio State. Busch’s relationship with Burrow and his father, Jimmy, helped Busch sell the two on the Tigers.

Joe burrow and it’s not close

Both those programs went directly into the shitter for about a decade chasing the notions of dipshites like yourself. Dipshits like yourself would have us sadled with a hugh contract with failed coaches like Herman or the exposed Fisher.

BDJ made it all work well! Becoming more obvious as his play this year continues to make the Bengals work well also.
Obviously we had many skilled athletes on both the offense and defense, but Joe elevated both the coaches and his teammates to achieve at a high level.
I always remember his quote about if the DB is not looking back for the ball his receiver is open and he trusted them enough to throw the ball and expect them to make the play.
So much more than just a QB. He was a generational player and I'm so happy he came to LSU! Geaux Tigers!

Burrow elevated the whole team

E B O deserves the credit
EVERYONE BUT ORGERON
EVERYONE BUT ORGERON

Well, for one, “these” players you’re talking about “were” sought after. Chase was one of the best WR’s in the nation out of high school. I would credit Burrow and Brady for the success in ‘19.

Real question: Who deserves credit for 2019
It’s obvious now that Ed was just along for the ride in 2019 and had almost zero to do with the on field success of that team.
Sure, he didn’t run Aranda off before the season, he hired Brady at Ensminger’s recommendation and beat out Cincinnati for the recruitment of Joe Burrow. I’ll give him credit for those things.
But that was the extent of his contributions, proving once again that sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. It is just not something that is sustainable

It was a complete team effort. However without a few key things: Burrow, Brady, Aranda etc it would have never happened

Burrow and Brady!
Orgeron's fingerprints are no where on 2019.
