Well if it can change than it could change into anything. We could make an amendment regarding transgender people or what have you.

I think he meant the original constitution and its principles, which are verifiably immoral

What about the 3/5 compromise and women being able to vote?
Do you understand ramifications of Amendments?
Do you understand the importance of following the Constitution which obviously includes Amendments?

I did. Both parties are shite. Complete and utter shite. It sickens me to think I voted GOP without question for my entire adult life.

Well if it can just be changed/amended, isn’t that the only real value?

That would be "the original constitution" WITH 10 AMENDMENTS and a process to add more?

What if the constitution made an amendment regarding transgender people?

Switch to No Party Affiliation.
Independent is an actual party.

Yes, just after the sham election last year.

This is goofily worded "if the constitution made"?
You want "an amendment regarding transgender people" - whatever the hell that means or is?
Go for it! Start the process of getting it done and see how it plays out.
Was this supposed to be some sort of gotcha, or are you just still bleeding all over the damn board for some weird reason?

I went no party after I saw how republicans were too cowardly and week to stand up for Trump after the 2016 election.

Point is, if the constitution can simply be amended to fit the current consensus of the day, what is the point of calling one’s self a “constitutional conservative”

But the process is by designation a bit more arduous than that. So your "point" isn't really applicable.
