More often than not an offense will score a TD regardless of your formation given since it is harder/reactionary (in most instances) to play D.
We were better with the four man front than we were with the three man front, and it was well implemented when necessary.

Correct, but we got more pressure on the QB and you could tell that it affected the decisions made. Never said it was long term, just that it was implemented at the right time and its purpose was served - doesn’t mean it was perfect

This was a head-scratcher. We were up 28-10 with about 11 minutes left in the 4th then we went 4 DL exclusively and they drove 75 yards on 12 plays and made it a 28-17 game. But we went back to 3 man front on their next possession and they scored anyway.

Yup, they actually switched to a 4 man front on several 3rd and long situations before the start of the 4th qtr.

It's purpose was to give up a 4 min drive for a TD? 
I have no problem with 4 on the DL. I have a huge problem with the fact that we can't stop that mediocre offense without 8 guys back in coverage.
