Lowe, 21, was the first recipient of a memorial scholarship created to honor former Utah player Ty Jordan, a 19-year-old tailback who died after an accidental shooting in December 2020.

Jordan and Lowe were high school teammates in Mesquite, Texas.

After Jordan died, Lowe switched his jersey number from No. 2 to No. 22 to honor his friend.

Freaky that he went to the same high school and college as Jordan

Aaron Lowe was born and raised in Shreveport. He played high school ball in Mesquite Texas withTy Jordan who was killed on Christmas Day. I have a buddy of mine who plays with Aaron and is pretty close with him. He switched to #22 this spring in honor of Ty who was killed. I was just informed it was his girl friend who was also injured

This is bizarre, and really sad. Prayers to his family.

There’s no Mormons in Salt Lake City, aside from at the temple. Walk around that place sometime. It’s not nearly what you think. It looks similar to Seattle, with all of the bullshite trappings.

Totally agree SLC is more woke than lots of people would believe…

Their opponent, Washington State, had a player injured in a shooting that same night.

I just talked to one of my buddys who plays for Utah and was at the party. He said there was a fight in the street. The fight got broken up. The kids who started the fight left after it got broken up. A Lowe showed up after the fight, then the kids came back looking for some of the football players. Aaron not knowing what had previously happened, tried to settle them down him and his girlfriend were shot. The team had a meeting about what had happened early this morning before the articles had come out. Hearts and prayers going out to Lowe’s family and his teammates.

SLC , and Utah in general has changed a lot in the last 10-20 years. The Cali left coast liberals that can’t afford Jackson Hole, Aspen, , and the likes have been moving into Utah with a vengeance. Lower SLC/Provo valley is becoming a new silicone valley east just like Austin.

There are entire areas downtown that are overrun with bum, drug heads, and the scum of society. Hell the mayor of SLC is a liberal!!!

People only think of Utah as molly Mormon BYU land, but it is not the case.
