Should animals be covered under insurance?
Let's say you have a dog that is 10 years old and develops cancer. However it us treatable and the dog could live another 5-8 years.
Should animals be treated under medical insurance? As it is expensive when they get sick and you have to pay out of pocket.
Uhhhh...you know you can buy coverage on animals, right?

Yes, at a huge premium but should it be something that is offered at a smaller premium

Opted in for pet health insurance 4 or 5 years ago.
Was 15$ a month.
The ex-wife had a lab that got a uterus infection.(she should have had her spayed)
With the insurance, the operation was left owning $1150, with a 35% chance of recovery.
Dog was euthanized by vet with yours truly there, because ex couldn't stand to see it.
shite happens. Lab was 11.
