I doubt they are playing stadiums, more like 15k-ish arenas and festivals
Posted on 9/24/21 at 12:35 pm to Keep Stirring
You are probably right.

Some of the articles are saying it's a stadium tour, and it is next summer.. so it could be baseball stadium type venues that hold around 40k.. dunno??
Posted on 9/25/21 at 8:52 am to Keep Stirring
I don't care what kind of venue they're in, with Frusciante back in the fold, I'm there.

Any news on when the new album will be released?
Posted on 9/28/21 at 7:21 pm to tigers32
A safe bet would be before the tour. I think the album is pretty much done and they may just be mixing at this point.

Rumor is the tour will also feature the Strokes

Chili Peppers with Frusciante and The Strokes? Good god, man. Looks like I'm buying plane tickets. Just need to pick one of the cities since no New Orleans.

Yes, with Frusciante back, I may try to make that Nashville show as I have never gotten to see them live.

RHCP at Fenway Park? Yes, please
Posted on 10/8/21 at 3:00 pm to tigers32
How do you get the pre-sale??

Is there an advantage to the RHCP pre-sale?
Right now tickets are available on Ticketmaster but floor seats are like $500 which is ridiculous. I can’t tell if these are special AMEX tickets or if Ticketmaster is doing some weird pricing due to demand. I read Ticketmaster adjusts prices due to demand.

Those are third party sites I believe. I just got a pair of tickets in one of the closest sections and they were about $200 each.
Crazy what concerts cost these days.

Got tickets in Nashville in the lower floor section - row 20 - for $215 each. Was more than I would normally spend, but I've been wanting to see Frusciante live for 16 years now. Biggest regret of my concert-going life was missing him at Voodoo after Stadium Arcadium.
Super pumped. When you look at it, its $100 to see RHCP and $100 to see The Strokes back to back. Worth it in my opinion.
