What people don’t realize is all this means is Entergy will maintain generation and transmission, the city will take over distribution and buy the power from Entergy on the wholesale market. The city will then be responsible for all maintenance of distribution facilities within the city limits and will bill the end use customers at a rate greater than what they pay Entergy.
If the citizens of NO think that’s a better arrangement….
