I know it’s been two easy opponents but are our coordinators abilities to change things that need to be changed from week to week starting to grow on y’all?

Daronte has really lit a fire under that d line . Cmu shredded everyone they played with the run including Missouri. They didn’t do shite on our starters. We had one big run where Clark messed up with gap control, but besides that, we had one blown coverage. Someone is doing some good stuff with Clark, he’s improving alot
.
I like what peetz is doing , his gameplans don’t even look like the same school from week 2 to 3 . I’m starting to think those two may be good to keep for continuity if o is let go .

I think we will get hot and win some games TBh. I’m pretty confident that this team is turning a corner, BUT! We have to keep Deion Smith and Bech on the field!!

this team is having a ton of growing pains after losing almost everyone after the 2019 season, combine that with switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3 and you end up with a bit of a shitshow until things get figured out

It would certainly save us some money, but it doesn’t always work out like that. New guy may require his people.

If they perform well enough to where we want to keep them, it would probably mean O ain’t going anywhere.

But part of me feels like you may be trolling and threw this last sentence in

No what's sad is you can't even be excited about obvious improvement of the team. You are an LSU fan, right?

Most rational and objectively speaking fans are cautiously optimistic. The improvements were made against McNeese St. and Central Michigan University.

I know, but we really don’t have a whole lot to go on. I just looked at the stats of the other sec team cmu played and it wasn’t close .

We played them much better.

Btw, if o wins 9 or 10 games we may as well keep the dude to give ourselves a chance to continue recruiting well and continuity.
Seems like the players love him. That’s half the battle

Do you see how much I post? Do you really think that I don’t know that. The d coordinator works with the defense as a whole that’s why I said someone it’s either daronte or baker. Carter and daronte both coach the d line with o as well.

Don’t try to get cute with me, I’m not a dumbass when it comes to football .

UCLA was awful. Have we seen improvement...some.

Real test on the defense from last year is this week. If we open in man coverage I might have to turn the game off.

Making adjustments is easy when you play shitty teams because the execution is going to be better. Hopefully they can continue to improve against a shitty SEC team that killed us last year.

We're 2.5 pt favorites over the worst team in the division. I think we should probably pump the brakes on declaring our issues behind us. We lose on Saturday, and 3-9 is not out of the realm of possibilities (not likely, but still possible)

You can stop right there. And against one of those (McNeese) the offered looked god awful.

It is really easy to miss the forest for the trees after beating a couple of rent a wins.

Yes the team looked better this least week. And the starting defense looked really good in both games.

But let’s see it against a coupe of SEC teams before we really think a corner has been turned.

We know what Leach and Miss State did last year. If we beat them handily then there will be real reason for optimism heading into the AU game. Win that one and we will all agree thing are heading in the right direction.

You do realize that Fresno State is the West Coast equivalent to Memphis State. They just beat giant killer UCLA.

I hope you are right, but let’s see how we improve against the SEC.
