Celsius extra is a rebranding and an inferior product.

Generic Celsius should be available soon.

Pretty sure they had to. Replaced with some other chemical(s) that I can't spell. Supposed to work the same on broadleaf.

Are you using the high rate of 3.2 grams, 0.113 oz per 1000 sq ft or 1 teaspoon per gallon of spray mix?

Are you adding surfactant?

Much of the VBW I’m seeing in neighbor’s yard is mature with white flowers and mature VBW is much harder to “kill” and often requires 2 or more sprays. If you spray while it’s young and emerging it’s much easier to control. I’ve had good success keeping VBW in check with Celsius, MSM Turf, and Fertilome Weed Free Zone provided I spray it when young (before flowering).

Just remember it is a perennial weed, it always comes back but you can contain it.

No it’s not the new Celsius it’s a different Celsius. Yes they removed the dicamba but if you add msm you get control on every damn thing in your lawn. No need to purchase sedgehammer.

Thanks Crawdude....I have just about given up, but will try your method.

I have re-sodded half my yard, and it came back same year...

It is a badass weed!

Longtime lurker, this board has been very helpful with my battle against weeds in my lawn.

Does anyone have a website where this can be purchased? And anyone got a recipe for mixing it per gallon? Assuming I'd add 1/8 of a tsp/gallon of MSM to it for VBW control

I usually just do a google search for "celsius mix rate tigerdroppings" but I believe the high rate that you need for VBW is 1 tsp/gal plus 2 tsp/gal sticker/spreader.
