Definitely deserves fairly severe punishment. When these types of things get swept under the rug it can eventually lead to young adults like Brock Turner with his rape or Ethan Couch with his affluenza.

Why? They haven't even been found guilty of anything yet.
There's a lot of assumptions of guilty on all charges here
