the elite recruiting that we'll still get with a new coach
How the hell do you know this? Most of the kids we are currently recruiting and are committed have committed to O. This is one of the biggest problems with changing coaches is it hurts the first class.

the turnaround can be virtually instantaneous, with the right coach.
no coach will come here saying what O said when he was hired...they will all say we will rebuild and it will take a few years.

A 2-3 year rebuild isn't reality. That's just your opinion. It's also with noting that "rebuild"is a pretty subjective term. It could be argued we're in a rebuild right now. How many times are we going to let the same guy rebuild the roster and staff?

Transfers are going to happen whether we keep Orgeron or move on. That's just the way it is these days.

Kids are also decommitting (or not committing at all - Law. Wiggins, Matthews, Tapp) from Orgeron. You can't operate out of fear of losing a few recruits. Also, as I've mentioned before the Louisiana 2022 class is absolutely loaded with players, so we probably won't take as big of a hit as a team normally might when making a coaching change.
