There’s plenty of ways of deflecting her hands without resorting to death gripping her face like he’s in a street fight with her. It’s indicative of his controlling manipulative nature

I agree, but we also have hindsight. From what we saw, the interactions and story..had any of us seen that footage, I dont think we would assume she would be dead and he would be on the run. Thats one of the reasons the story is so crazy..
No one has to go to jail, there us separation and you can move on the next day. But with hindsight..sure the officer is kicking himself and will for years.
