I've always hated the camp out in front of a potentially innocent suspect's house that the media always loves to do. That shite has never set right with me
They often do it to the families of victims too. I think people should be able to get some sort of restraining order on media members in this type of situation. They are entitled to report on the case but not stand on the edge of the lawn with high powered cameras aimed at the windows
BTW can anyone clarify for me what information is really known about the dead couple? As in if a pathologist estimated time of death was released to the public. Or the physical distance between where the youtubers were seen by the police and where the bodies were found.
Are we talking about hundreds of miles or 5 miles away? One seems unlikely to be relevant and the other potentially linked to the missing woman

Very quiet tonight outside Brian Laundrie’s house. We are starting to think Brian and his parents left. Unlike yesterday - zero activity today and no lights on tonight. Police said again tonight they know where he is, but won’t elaborate.

When would the police have enough evidence to press charges? Say there is no sign of a crime after they go through the van, and they can't find any incriminating evidence on CCTV, phones, witnesses etc. If nothing incriminating surfaces, they can't really charge him, right?

Random question, say you’re traveling like this couple was and you get arrested. What’s the best way to find and contact an attorney to represent you?

I think I read somewhere that the lease on the storage unit was coming to an end and they didn't want to (or maybe couldn't afford to) rent it for longer.
So he flew across the country to empty it? That surely could have paid for a couple more months of storage rent.

Also, y’all are forgetting that the girl showed major signs of separation anxiety as shown in the body cam footage. She clearly didn’t want them to have to separate that night that the cops made them sleep in different places.
So why the hell does he leave for Florida and leave her by herself for 5 days? To empty a storage unit? Guys that doesn’t take more than a day. A couple loads with a truck or even one with a trailer probably and you’re good. Lets say the plane trip there and back counts for 2 days of the five IF he did nothing on those days but fly… so you’re telling me it took him 3 days to empty a storage?
Sounds like he killed those girls and made up the storage unit shite. The girl had already said she was scared that he was going to leave her and take the van during the fight they had… dude was trying to ditch her, but came back why? To get the van? Was his gun in the van that he used to kill the two lesbians and she found it?
The girl acted like she wanted no part of that van when she was told she had to drive her after they took him. Did she already know he kept a gun in there? Was she nervous because she knew what he was gonna do?
I’m telling y’all, this dude has made this girl out to be crazy, but that’s what narcissistic people do. Remember Chris watts?

The lesbian couple was last seen at the same bar that witnesses also saw Laundrie and Petito.
This was the following day after Petito and Laundrie were forced to separate for the night by the police.
They were probably within a couple hundred feet of each other. Then Laundrie goes to Florida for 5 days.

Is it confirmed he had a gun or is this conjecture?

What information is available about the time of death of the couple? When were the bodies found and was a pathologist able to establish a time of death?

Her not wanting to drive is strange to me. Go to the 1:28 of the Van Life Video Van Life

Wouldn't the cops have picked up on the BFs rap sheet at the police stop-if he was the creepy guy? Did the GF say he was arrested and did meth?

Police did not release the identity of the man citing 'pre-trial publicity,' and as of August 23 his whereabout were unknown.
'The individual has been arrested three times in the Norwood and Telluride areas since July 1st for charges including weapons offenses, burglary of a local laundromat, possession of meth, trespassing, and theft.
'The judge has repeatedly released this man from jail on PR bonds over the objections of the District Attorney's office,' San Miguel County Sheriff shared on Twitter.

No confirmation that he had any weapons at all. We don’t know jack shite about him. The only one that would know anything would be her and she’s missing. He won’t talk and there isn’t a body, so they can’t charge him on anything.
I don’t know about the time of death. All I know is they went missing on the 14th and we’re last seen at the bar. They were found on the 18th by a relative. Gunshot wounds were determined the cause of death and they had been telling friends about a creepy guy at their campsite.
Where did Laundrie and Petito go after they left the bar on the 14th and why were they there if they don’t drink?
Laundrie left for Florida on the 17th. The day before they were found dead.

There is still no real motive for BL killing two lesbians, and there is no reason to believe that BL even owned a gun. What we know about BL doesn't lead me to believe he'd be responsible for a double murder of a lesbian couple. Obviously, I could be wrong, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

I just realized my post made it appear I was calling BS on your assertion, but that wasn't the intention - I was genuinely asking if he had a firearm with him.
Relative to the two ladies who were killed, I recall reading that the ballistics indicated two different firearms.

Not talking to the police is not strange to me in the least bit, even if he's innocent. Not talking to her parents at all, or right away is the strange part. Things you say to police can and will be manipulated to make you look guilty. Things he might say to her parents would be hearsay in court if he didn't confirm them.
So, him not talking to them is extremely questionable, IMO.

Its still super weird to me that BL's attorney hasn't released anything to my knowledge saying "My client has done nothing wrong." etc.
They usually get way ahead of this in the PR department but really are sticking to the silence gambit.
It makes me wonder if the have spoken to the police and the police want him to stay quiet as well for a few different reasons.

Agreed, that is telling.
