I have the same concerns. I should have said if they can get it together a little bit. Maybe the figure a few things out like moving the pocket more quick passes. They might figure out a creative way to get some running lanes open. I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible.

Last night I was use a little hyperbole saying that we would lose to CMU and go winless in the SEC. I don't actually expect that to happen. I really hope we can get to 7 wins or so and at least have some fun.

The O-line issues are more related to the unit than individual talent, IMO. I have had the good fortune to talk to a coach who coached O-line at a mid level college program. He made the comment once that O-line is the one place where the unit is more important than individual talent. A moderately talent synced up o-line will look infinitely better than a highly talented o-line each doing there own thing.

That cohesiveness really comes into play when plays go off script. A cohesive unit reacts as one player. providing that extra 2 seconds for a QB to adjust and execute. a non cohesive unit beaks down at the first wrinkle the defense throws at them.
