He is just fascinating to listen to. But I am green to his teachings so I know there has to be some adverse thoughts on him.
Cheers

Science is the foundation of his lectures. He can be long winded but makes valid points based in science.

Anyone preaching individual responsibility will be viewed as a heretic.
He's an anti social justice warrior.

Isn’t much downside. He’s a centrist and doesn’t have the greatest pulse on American conservatism though. Dude hates commies. He understands human nature and the way societies have to work and the people within them. I recommend reading 12 rules for life as it’ll cover everything.

He's one of few academics resisting the madness of woke shite

I have his last two books and LOVE his interviews. The left hates him because he blows some of their narratives up
with cold, hard facts.

Watch the GQ British interview he did. About halfway thru he got the feminist to change her tone. He’s very convincing.

I really enjoyed his bible lectures - very fascinating

I pretty sure he's agnostic but understands that most of the success of western societies is due to christian culture and fundamentals. Traditional families, gender roles, honesty, belief in higher power.

In the millenia old practice of civilized debate, he is undefeated.
Liberals and anything woke hate him.

He's originally from Alberta, which is much more sane than Eastern Canada or Vancouver.

I remember reading his 12 rules for life book. I thought it was really pretty good, but his random crusades against communism seemed out of place (albeit not incorrect)

Alberta may be more American than California. Also happens to be one of the mort beautiful places on earth.

BC is a step up in scenery, but Vancouver makes their politics unsavory.
Alberta is the one sane province left.

Zero downside. I would go as far to say his books are life changing.

That interview he did with Kathy Newman was hysterical. He'd say something, she'd interpret in her own mind then repeat it to him in the form of "so what you're saying is....". She fell flat on her face and embarrassed herself, then blamed him for putting her life in danger because people lambasted her on Twitter

He’s similar to like a Donald Trump type person. Very polarizing and you either LOVE him or HATE him. I think he’s awesome. He just understands how things are supposed to work. Like he believes in gender roles. Very sound reasoning. But you have all these libs who hate that. His 12 rules for life book helped me tremendously. It was over my head and I had to listen to it a few times to fully digest it but man, it really did help ground me in several area of thinking

Perhaps communism might have seemed random for the book, but the purpose was to illustrate how political ideology can corrupt the basic necessities and needs of man. Communism attempts to usurp the “12 rules for life” by commanding everyone to sacrifice their own needs for the good of others, which is antithetical to how human beings actually function.

Correct.
Collectivism is anti human nature. Any kind of collectivism. Its a philosophy of the weak.
Collectivism is the tradeoff of individual liberty and happiness for the benefit of the lowest common denominator. Its a race to the bottom.
