thanks. been trying to stop the mold until we can fully gut it. Still living in it. Guess it’s back to square one. Gotta find somewhere else to live

I will give you credit, you said it would "refire" and it appears that is doing so.
Nighttime with tropical systems. Plus you have two surface focuses for convergence and flow out of the gulf advecting in moisture and instability.
Wasnt too hard of a call when all the CAMs were supporting it too.

Def do, breathing mold is a no go. I have flooded only once and it was only about 4" of water. It put flooding into a new perspective.

My kid isn't going to school today in EBR. I'll keep her home today.

Is this thing really gonna squat & sit over us until Friday?
Yes but the heavy rain threat wanes a little each day as dry air works in and it goes fully extra tropical. Will remain a focus for some rain but by Thursday things should be ramping down in Louisiana.

I already have enough flashbacks... Tired of getting more weather ones but the food is so damn delicious

If that line stretching from Galliano to Walker ends up parking over NOLA for any length of time on its march east...
I didn't like where that convection was starting to form offshore earlier tonight. It is getting funneled right to that general area.
