So that fact alone leads to the most relevant question in this entire affair: why was U.S. taxpayer money used to fund GOF research in a ChiCom Lab? In a just world, heads would be on pikes for such an outrage in and of itself.

For the same reason that the CCP gets ALL of our most advanced Military research. Madeline Albright (Clinton's SOS) that it was not a good thing "for the US to the World's lone Superpower". Smart people knew what she meant.

CV19 was deliberately released by China from Wuhan internationally. We already know that. The transfer from Wuhan to Lombardy, Italy and elsewhere was clear and deliberate.

The question of lab origin is nearly as clear.

There has been no viable animal vector forwarded as a potential CV19 source. Not one. Initially the Chinese reached for straws ... bats, pangolins, raccoon-bears. They suggested origins in vectors familiar after SARS-CoV-1, assuming SARS-CoV-2 might be transmissible within one of them. It isn't.

Fauci, unbelievably is still carrying that water for the CCP.

After two years of searching, it is obvious there are few animal populations aside from humans in which COVID-19 is demonstrably transmissible. There remains no evidence of zoonotic origin of CV19.

That leaves GOF work (which we know was ongoing) at the WIV (which we know maintained suspect expertise and safety procedures) within the Chinese system (which we know has a history of sloppy viral containment) as the alternative.

Precisely. That this question is not being investigated given the international cast of players is what gives rise to so called conspiracy theories. The more we find out the less theoretical the conspiracies appear and the conspirators work harder and harder to obfuscate, misdirect, and lie to hide the truth.

Unless there’s a reckoning and actual conspirators are held accountable and punished I can’t see how our Republic survives this attack.
