What is your definition of an abortion?

If a mother is in the hospital and the baby is killing the mother and they induce labor to save the mother, is that an abortion?

Some of you have a very narrow definition of what an abortion is

Have you ever known someone who had that happen?

Also, I assume you mean inducing labor before the fetus is viable outside the womb. Lots of women have labor induced for a variety of reasons and it poses no threat to the fetus

I don't know the proper definition but an abortion ends with the death of the fetus.

Anything else is a birth.

What percentage of abortions is that you described? Over/under?

How many of those keep "Planned Parenthood" in business?

Nope. Abortion is simple, it has one goal. In a late term that goal can become interesting since they are racing against birth. The intent of the Abortion is to kill the kid before he breaches, in the womb would be best, but at a certain point, they pull it out far enough to do the deed. It's heartbreaking and disgusting.

You were saying about the narrow definition?

If labor has to be induced to save the mother, in what scenario must the baby be killed before it is birthed? It’s going to be birthed either way, dead or alive. How does killing the baby prior to birth help the mother, other than ridding herself of it?
