I’d imagine this is Scott Woodward talking to the bos this morning

I’m guessing the strategy is to pull the rip cord after losing to Kentucky.

Should win the next 3

Then lose to Aub at home for the first time in how many years?

Loss at Kentucky

Fired on Sunday.

Similar to LM in 2016

Woodward is part of the problem. He gave Ogre $9 Million/year and these bum coordinators millions.

Man he had to give him a raise after 2019. For all anyone knew, the O process was working.

I don’t fault him for that. Every coach that wins a natty gets a raise.

O gotta go.

If things go as bad as we are expecting, I still think they give him till the end of the year. The season will be a loss anyway, so let him finish the mess and then there would be no controversy at all over his firing for boosters and BoS.
However, who was in charge of hiring the OC and DC. Was it CEO? HC's catch the blame and rightly so because they set their staff and make their hires, but the OC and DC should be catching equal blame. It was utter failure on both sides of the ball. Actually I would say more blame goes to the D.

Who was remotely interested in hiring him after 2019?
Paid him at Saban level based on 1 great season.

Looks like Coach O stopped by to give a downvote

I’m more worried about who the new boss would recommend. Come on down to Baton Rouge Deion?

I imagine he had a clause in his contract for a raise if he won a natty. Many do

Yea Woodward isn’t gonna sit back and wait to see how bad it gets before he starts reaching out to candidates.

He’s already working on it

It’s not happening, not this soon. Don’t even get yourself worked up about it.

If you don't give a NC coach a payraise, you will never get a big name coach to come here....

It is just part of the process, unfortunately.

Yeah, I’ve been noticing at least 1 DV on every post criticizing him. Sometimes 2. The 2 is when the bimbo is with him.

I firmly believe this. It’s not difficult to see there’s more problems with LSU football than simply losing a game. There’s deeper issues. I wouldn’t doubt if SW started putting out feelers before the season even started. Orgeron can’t get out of his own way and he has just enough rope to hang himself.

There will be a very doable buyout negotiated if he’s not fired for cause. Woodward has been monitoring Orgerons performance for a while. The on the field stuff we saw Saturday is just the icing on the cake he needed from a fan support perspective to make a move.

He’s beyond ready to get his guy in here

In fairness...19 season had never been achieved.

We beat the brakes on 7 top 10 teams...

Bama was closest...but we gave up a cheap TD late...

I’m not in disagreement but… here’s a BIG question then- who the world would you make interim? Lol! Both coordinators are rookies trying to learn how to run a unit, much less a full fledged SEC squad.
