The leftists melted down when he showed up with actual help. They didn’t care that he brought truckloads worth of water and supplies, only that it made Hillary look bad

Probably because people liked Trump and wanted him to come to Louisiana.
I wonder if Biden will have more people show up for this visit than he did while "campaigning".

Trump was a private citizen in 2016
And Trump visiting Louisiana after the flood when no one else would and donating supplies is part of the reason he won the election.
