It doesn't make sense for TV though. Not enough golfers on the course leading to way too much down time.

Match play when you only have four playing the last day is not good TV. And unless they super stars are playing nobody cares. USGA Am is the only tourney most care to watch match play finals most of the time.

PGA struggles with figuring out a finale format. Trying to get done before competing with NFL and most of the sports focus is majors.

Anybody know why Koepka withdrew? He probably didn't want to get paired with Bryson.

Seems a bit silly, but OK. No harm done.

Eastlake is such a beautiful old course. We went there for the final round about 10 years ago.

And what that club has done for the community with the charter school is really incredible.

Would Rahm be leading if he wasn’t DQ’ed from the Memorial off a crazy alleged Covid test

Great question. Don't know.

Both of these guys are clearly feeling the pressure.

3 holes for 10 mil.

I wonder if had Jon Rahm had won the Memorial, would he have been in first place going into the Tour Championship and therefore had a lead on Cantlay?

I don’t consider Cantlay champion. Because Rahm would’ve been at -10 to start the week.

Because I asked earlier then looked it up

True, but he should still send a thank you note to the CCP and Anthony Fauci.

Bruh what? Did you forget he got robbed of huge amounts of points and would’ve been the leader going into this weekend?

It is true that he had a 6 stroke lead at the Memorial on Saturday. It would have been an epic melt for him not to win.

That said, Cantlay had nothing to do with that. All the guy did was collect more points than anyone else.

Rahm had his chances today. Puts didn't fall.
