but also many installs dont get the main regulator sized properly at the home and have issues with this.
This is definitely a thing.
I was fortunate when building my house I was able to tell the guy that came to install the gas meter that I was planning on putting in a generator and he put in a rather large meter.

From someone else's previous experience, my vote is on problem with gas line from main to generator
Air in the line, valve size
Not likely to be their problem.
Just confirming what others have said. They know more than I do

Thx Slack -- I read that may be a possibility.
maybe a dump suggestion but I have had a lot of success in DIY maintenance by just googling the problem statement.

I don't have one of the Generacs but it seems they should install a gauge on the gas line going in to the generator so you could see what the pressure is so in instances like this you would know if you can eliminate a gas pressure issue or not. Do they not have a gauge on them to let you know if the pressure is sufficient to run?

You should also be able to look at the gas meter coming to your house. If it’s below a 2.5lb delivery meter you likely have supply issues.
Ours also has a regulator at the generator for cutting the pressure from the meter that should have a gauge on it that you can verify pressure or any inconsistencies with.

Standby Generac will not stay running

I hope you don't have a service contract with Generators of LA. Scammers. Take your money, don't deliver service.

My portable generac, that everyone here and the home & garden board shits on, has been running like a beauty and starts up the first time each time.
And it cost only $1,600 for that and the interlock kit total.
