Anybody know anything about going north; Metairie to Jackson, MS?
I just trove from Alexandra to Jackson, MS and the drive was uneventful.

How about going in the other direction - Kenner to Lafayette (and ultimately Houston)? Seems like it should be passable too, but I'd like to confirm before sending my family out.

Anyone travel from BR to Houma? Heading down there tomorrow with my FIL.

Highway 90 from Boutte to Morgan City and on to Lafayette is open. At least 2 gas stations in Berwick were open Monday afternoon 3pm but they had long lines to get gas, so they could possibly run out

Seems like Nola and metro are accessible from both directions. Are there checkpoints? Any chance if being turned away if I want to go drop a generator to my parents and check on my house.

They had check points in the raceland area, hwy 90 at 308, 90 at la 1, 90 at 182.

To clarify, they're not stopping you on 90, only if you try to exit at those locations

I just drove Covington to Gulfport on I-12 and I-10. It's clear and free flowing in both directions.

Good deal. So no problem getting to Kenner from Houston it sounds like besides maybe just venturing off 10 for a bit.

Things are clear in and out of BR via 10. Just fyi for anyone that may need to go that way.

When I came through, the Causeway was closed so I went 21 to 190. 21 had lots of trees and power lines down but was passable.

I'm trying to get from Mobile to Harahan. Is I-10 westbound open coming into the city?

Are they letting traffic into Thibodaux via highway 90 ?

Looking for information on I-12 from Florida to Ponchatoula. I need to get back soon for work. Trying to make a decision on when to head back but I'm not going to make the drive if I can't get back and if gas isn't available through that stretch to get home.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

My brother left destin at 1pm today and made it to br in 5 hours.
He said he did 80 the whole way, except for around Slidell - they had to slow down a little Bc there were trees down across the interstate.
Oops- forgot to say. No gas after Biloxi so fill up before there.
