Miles wants to intentionally distribute the ball, exposure and contributions such that we stay awaw from phsychological and real dependence on any 1 or 2 players. The running back by committe philosophy is the best example of this. He avoids the prima dona effect, and also hopes to instill better overall team spirit and team wins.

I am not saying that i agree or disagree with his position, I am just saying that this appears to be his philosophy.

I think it's because we have such a stable of quality backs that put us in a position to enjoy our opportunity to play.

You guys do realize that you can distribute the ball and still win the heisman right?

USC 2005 rushing stats

Reggie Bush 200 carries
Lendale White 197 carries

Funny coming from someone who just won't stop talking about his glory days playing for Polk High.

Miles and the LSU administration would welcome the publicity to the LSU football program if he had a horse in the Heisman race. Just think about what this would do for recruiting.

I remember we fed hester about 15 times a game regardless of the score. Scott gets 8-10 and he is put on the shelf. It works though it encourages incoming players they will get a chance to play and keeps all the big time prospects happy.

Maybe Miles saw what happened to Beanie. I'd rather have ground chuck healthy for the war eagles. I can't wait to watch him tear it up.
