Any updates on the Bedico Creek area? My wife’s family decided to ride it out down there, and she hadn’t heard from them lately in light of the AT&T outage.

Second the Bedico Creek request. I assume they are flooded in the neighborhood?

Cousin lives in the back and he said other than fences down it looks good. One house had a pine on it but not through it.

Edit. Well that was just in his part of the hood. Water is high in the middle but he said passable with a truck.....maybe

If you flooded for the rain storm last year you are flooded now. Waters are higher than that. Impassable getting to front of neighborhood

Same issue. My in-laws are in the newer subdivision right across from that new Bedico Supermarket/gas station near the parish line by the water tower. Have not heard from them since about 11 last night.

Anyone know how that neighborhood is doing? It’s called Bedico Trace. Was developed about 10-15 years ago.

Their last text was at 11pm. They said the wind was very bad and that their roof was leaking. They were not flooded at the time.

Flooding may become an issue in the next day or two as Ida goes north and dumps more rain. Bedico Creek was at 6ft during the flash flooding last year. It is at 8.42ft right now
NOAA Bedico Creek

Keep an eye on the Tangipahoa as well. If the prediction goes above 24ft there will be parts of 190 and 22 under water
