I just hope tale is trolling on this board, for the sake of his/her family.

Nuss will be a good one— Max deserves to be #1– he is the starter, unless he’s hurt or can’t get it done. Nuss will get his turn when the time comes. He’s the real deal. As Max was groomed by his QB/Pro Bowl dad BRAD. so was Nuss by his QB/Pro dad DOUG — who was Offensive Coordinator for Alabama 2012/13 National Champs—currently QB Coach for Dallas Cowboys. Both of these young men have tremendous football IQ’s not to mention —- great kids. When Myles comes back— we will be set.
I pray everyone stays.

When you are THAT wrong on a take it certainly tells us that you have no clue in talent evaluation.

I agree with this not bashing nuss...but max earned his position in real action

Again. Urban Meyer even was that wrong. I'm sure you've never missed one.

I think Brody Miller is a little more connected to the program and he states it's "not even close" ...remember that Nuss is going against 2's and 3's in scrimmages.

Nothing against Max either, Nuss is just an extremely good QB that’s hard to sit on the bench.
Max will start. Scrimmage stats are meaningless without context.
Nuss might challenge at some point, but Max is starting.

I have no doubt Nuss is more talented.. probably makes everything look a little easier
playing QB is not easy thing to do with just talent
just ask J Russell

in practice and the scrimmages...Nuss would be QB 1.
Ask Rohan about the difference between practice and the game

have we not learned our lesson about pushing talented true freshman in the fold too early?
You are referring to Jarrett Lee, but that is not what happened to Lee. He survived that and learned from it, but when he was a mature upperclassman, and he had the job to himself because of JJ’s injury (?), he failed to have the stones to for the position. This had nothing to do with putting him in too soon as a freshman.

Besides the playing in a scrimmage against 2’s and 3’s, I’ve heard that Nuss is the real deal BUT he is also still throwing 2/3 picks per scrimmage…first 3 drives of scrimmage 2 (1v1’s) all touchdowns, the offense basically ear-holed the D.

Remember when you said Burrow was basically Etling?
If that poster really said that then yea he’s a fricking idiot.

Sure. LSU is going to let the best QB sit.
Posted on 8/27/21 at 9:10 am to TigerDD3
The plays Max ran were more scripted than Nuss. He ran a lot of short down stuff and also had half the number of passes Nuss had because they ran the ball more to practice the RBs. I don’t know how many times it has to be said and proven, Burrow/Brennan, that numbers from scrimmages rarely mean anything.

Current LSU player does not equal a fan. This is not my opinion.
Why do we even need coaches? these players are so smart they should be the deciding who starts and sits as well calling plays right??? Current player > coaches duh
