The inside of our Boykin's ears get jacked up on the regular. What do you guys use to clean your dogs ears when they get a little funky. We had some "fancy" stuff from the vet, but we've used it up. Looking for an OTC alternative.

Thanks in advance.

My GSD swims a ton so she gets infections and nasty black shite and swelling somewhat frequently. All I use is malacetic ultra. It fixes it in like 24 hrs. Doesn't cost much at all.

They have some cleaning wipes you can get from pet store. When out of those I always just used wet paper towels and alcohol.

I’d imagine baby wipes would work as well

Can't remember the name brand but the best one was the one that foamed when you massaged the ear.

Our vet gave us a squirt bottle with an equal mix of alcohol, vinegar, and water.

Squirt it in the ear and massage the ear. Let them shake it out. Best to do outside.

Coconut mct oil mixed with a little tea tree oil.

Squirt in ear.

Just wipe ears with warm moist cloth after baths.

If it's chronic yeast infection, you'll need better stuff.
