I met Jose Bautista at Fred’s after the 2013 TAMU game. Guess he was in town for some Marucci tailgate or something. The woman he was with looked like a Spice Girl and he flat out shut me down when I asked if I could get a pic with him.

I met Darren Sharper at Reggie's after a football game in 2010. He was just chilling by the DJ booth doing some people watching. I was in grad school and 24 at the time, and I felt too old to be there. So I thought it a little odd that he was there. He was really cool though and shot the shite with us for a while. When the news broke about him, I immediately thought about that night. Strangely though, his wife was with him. So I always wondered if she was complicit in his... activities.
