Holy SJW-fest Batman.

Disney really laying this SJW and communist shite on thick af these days.

Moderately good show, but I found this really distracting.

That was a very small percentage of the season. But I’m sure you thought that’s what it was all about.

Communism is any social or political theory that I don’t fully understand.

It’s crazy how you think a show about a black man becoming Captain America shouldn’t touch on…the experiences of a black man becoming Captain America.

To be honest, it was brought up throughout the season.

Moderately good show

Outside of the advancement of Bucky's and Baron Zemo's characters, and the introduction of US Agent, I'd say the show was awful.

They tried too hard to force us to relate to the villains. This was most obvious when they wanted us to pretend US Agent did the wrong thing and with Falcon's total passivity toward the villains. There was never a point where trying to talk it out was appropriate, but that's where he kept going with it. I've seen some compare the villains to antifa, and try to make the case that Captain America rejects wokeness and defeats an antifa-style group, but that isn't what happens at all. He goes out of his way to never fight them unless forced into it, and the show clearly wants us to identify with them and understand where they're coming from. It was odd at first, but it became completely bewildering when they stuck with that throughout the entire series.

The ridiculous race subplot and Falcon's totally cringe sermon in the last episode just made it even worse.

And it was integral to the story but wasn’t the main focus of it. It was brought up less times than there were episodes.

And clearly the wrong man was chosen for the job.

As one of the protagonist and a proven Avenger we should have rooted for Sam to get it but there had to be a roadblock. Write me a better one.

Why?

ETA: Better yet, why wasn't the inclusion of a new Captain America named by the US government enough of a roadblock?

And why was he? You’re not thinking this through.

You’re saying they should have just named a new one over an accomplished Avenger? Just because?

And why did they?

It didn’t make sense for them to do it just to do it.

You’re good with that?

Even Bucky and Baron were pretty lame considering how good their characters could be.

The whole show was boring. The villains were just normal people but were supercharged. Give them suits or something. They were boring.

I do like Falcon, Sam Wilson, and the actor Anthony Mackie. I just don't think any of the three can really carry a show or a movie as the lead.
